She soon moved to London to continue training at The London College of Printing before becoming Editorial Assistant on Police Review Magazine. Julie joined IPC Magazines in the late 1980s as Features Editor on Mizz Magazine where she developed a strong editorial foundation, before moving into freelance journalism, writing for national titles including The Sun, Daily Mirror, and Daily Express, alongside women’s magazines. Her experience also includes television work with Living TV, PR across multiple sectors.
